System Activation
System activation is an on-site diagnostic visit performed by a licensed technician, required for Performance and Elite plans. This visit establishes a complete understanding of how your system was installed, verifies system performance, and confirms monitoring accuracy. It ensures we can properly support your system through ongoing on-site service and maintenance. System activation $349 is built into your first month’s payment for both Performance and Elite plans and is required due to the ongoing field service structure of these memberships. Essential Care does not require an on-site activation visit, as it is a remote support-only plan.
Solar Care — System Protection Coverage Levels
Choose the coverage level that fits your system and service needs. Essential Care activates immediately upon enrollment. No technician visit is required—remote monitoring and support begin right away. Performance Care and Elite Care include a System Activation visit. A licensed technician completes an on-site diagnostic to verify system condition and establish your service baseline. Activation is included in the plan and does not require a separate purchase. All plans include a 3-month minimum commitment. Cancel anytime after the initial term.
